We just came back from our trip the beginning of June 2023. I have Bajan roots and have not been on the island since the age 5. My immediate family and a couple of friends came for a relaxing vacation and we received just that!\n Everyone in our group including my 17 year old had the best time. Before leaving we were talking our next trip back there next year, 2024. The villa was literally right on the beach with the most amazing terrace and view\n of the water<\/p>\n

The house was very comfortable and provided a home away from home feel. The space was perfect with 5 bedrooms 6 bathrooms all picture perfect.<\/p>\n

Candy was amazing and her meals never disappointed us, she is a phenomenal cook. Michelle who takes care of the house is so sweet and always smiling. The two of these young ladies provided impeccable hospitality. They were\n both knowledgeable regarding places we asked about going to on the Island to see and do. This is a family vacation dream house. We will definitely be back.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

The whole experience in Barbados still makes me smile from all the happy memories. I travelled out there with a group of friends for a 40th birthday celebration and we all stayed here at La Paloma. What a venue! Each morning\n I would wake up and have a coffee on the veranda, looking out over the sea and listening to the waves lapping. What a way to start the day. The property is literally on the beachfront and it is so easy to pop into the sea\n for a swim in between sunbathing sessions. There are also plenty of sunloungers, towels and a plunge pool to dip into, oh and a BBQ too.<\/p>\n

The house and rooms are decorated to a high degree; the beds are very comfy, all rooms are ensuite and the air conditioning is effective. We were all incredibly comfortable. The villa is not far from the supermarket, pharmacy\n and restaurants too.<\/p>\n

I loved it here and hope that I can return one day with my family. Thanks also to Candy, our chef, for looking after us so well.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Wow! As we walked up the stairs and on to the terrace our jaws were ajar. The size, the setup, those cozy sofas, and that view! When we weren\u2019t snorkelling in the sea or lounging by the pool we practically lived on that terrace,\n enjoying a few rum punches and sunset after sunset.<\/p>\n

The house itself is stunning. Every room has an en-suite which at first seemed excessive but turns out to be a little bit of lovely luxury, especially when the house is full! The two bigger bedrooms upstairs open up to the\n terrace and have beautiful sea views.<\/p>\n

Speaking of the sea, you walk through the garden, open the gate, and you are literally on the beach! A few more steps and you\u2019re swimming in the sea. It\u2019s glorious! <\/p>\n

A special shout-out to Candy, the house chef, who cooked some amazing meals and whipped up some delicious cocktails. Sensational!<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Our stay at La Paloma was nothing short of perfect. We stayed to celebrate a special occasion with friends and made the most wonderful memories! La Paloma couldn\u2019t be more perfectly located, right on the beach so we could take\n morning walks along the beach and snorkel right out of the back gate, followed by a dip in the pool (what a treat!). close to some wonderful restaurants and also the supermarket if you need to pick up supplies. The house\n is beautifully decorated with a chic beach vibe. The kitchen is well stocked with all the appliances you might need. The media room is great for a night in with a movie or a game of pool. Candy whips up a delicious welcome\n Cocktail and tasty food for when we stayed in. All in all, a perfect holiday. We had a wonderful relaxing time at La Paloma. The property is beautiful, and we were very well looked after by Diana. It was great waking up in the morning and going straight on to the beach for a morning swim before breakfast.\n Well worth a visit. After just returning back from Barbados staying at La Paloma I wanted to share my thoughts. First the villa is spectacular it is literally right on the beach with the most amazing patio ever. The house easily accommodated 8\n of us with 5 bedrooms 6 bathrooms all picture perfect .The staff Candy the wonderful cook ask her to only make Bajan food you won’t be disappointed and Michelle who takes care of the house is sweet and amazing.. I had the best time at La Paloma! The villa was amazing and so was the location (right on the most beautiful beach) and the service. La Paloma is everything you’d imagine, and more! The house itself is beautiful – elegant but still homely and comfortable. It’s exceptionally clean, and every bedroom has its own bathroom which is a bonus when travelling with\n friends. The layout is perfect for communal living, with a shared common area in the middle and of course that beautiful terrace is perfect for sundowners, and enjoying the sunset over the ocean. Candy and Michelle are wonderful\n and attentive, and definitely ask Candy to make you a cocktail or two (my favourite was the tamarind daquiri – yum!). The setting is so relaxing, with the beach right on your doorstep. Honestly I can go on and on. Bottom\n line: book it. You won’t regret it.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

The house was beautiful, very tastefully decorated, rooms are spacious and the air conditioning is excellent. We had two cooks, Marisa and Candy and they were both absolutely fantastic. I even had a beautifully made 50th birthday\n cake by Marisa, so thoughtful. The beach was just a few meters from the house and it really was absolute paradise. I could not recommend this place any more. We have booked again for next year and I cannot wait \ud83e\udd17<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

We had the most stunning time in Barbados during our recent stay with our son and friends. La Paloma offered my wife and me an exceptional opportunity to teach our son to appreciate snorkeling and all about marine wildlife\n just outside our doorstep. The rock formations and the variety of fish were just amazing. We even got lucky and spotted Humpback whales from the balcony, and later in the day, we spotted them again from a catamaran trip!\n (Ask the owners to help organize, it’s a must!!!)\n

Having read other positive reviews about the villa, we tried having the amazing chef Candy make us some frozen tamarind cocktails. Wow, what tricks she indeed has up her sleeves! The sesame tuna she cooked, the flying fish\n dish, and the Mexican feast she prepared for us were divine! Wow, what can I say. If you’ve looked at the website you’ll already see how amazing this place is, the only thing better than the pictures is staying here in real life.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The beach front property is both luxurious and homely, exceptionally private while also being only a short drive or taxi ride from everything on the island. The views are incredible and you can tell they’ve really taken the time to think of everything you could possibly need at the house. We went kayaking and snorkelling most days and we even spotted turtles from the balcony! Candy, La Paloma’s chef was also incredible, top tip, ask for some Strawberry Daiquiris to accompany your lunch!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The property owners and their team could not have done more to make a special trip away with friends seamless from start to finish. We’re already planning our next trip back.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

La Paloma was absolutely amazing and made the trip to Barbados one for the book \"\ud83e\udd29\" We went swimming and snorkeling outside the villa every day, where we got to see hundreds of fish and spotted turtles more than once. The staying at La Paloma was incredible. The villa is located right on the beach in a locality close to everything. It is surrounded by tall trees and colorful flowers that give a nice feeling of being in touch with nature.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La Paloma felt like home as soon as I entered, while still being luxurious and full of amenities. The house is perfect for dinners on the terrace while enjoying the sunset, quick dips in the swimming pool, long sunbathing sessions in the garden, or maybe just a movie night with family\/friends.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The highlight of the stay was Candy who is an amazing chef. She cooks with love and everything she does is absolutely tasty.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

This is our fifth visit to La Paloma, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. The amazing balcony overlooking the garden and beach sets the tone for this wonderful villa, where we were served delicious meals by the attentive staff. All this in a beautifully relaxing spot in a lovely part of the island makes for the perfect holiday setting for a large family or group of friends. Wonderful beach front holiday home. Stayed as a guest in August 2017. Staff are very accomodating. Rooms air conditioned. Secure gated garden with direct access to the sea. Small pool, huge terrace for al fresco dining, luxurious rooms, tastefully decorated. Cannot recommend enough. Our first visit to Barbados at La Paloma was the best experience ever. Michele is an excellent housekeeper, keeping the place clean with 9 of us was not easy but she was wonderful. Our laundry was always ready,bedrooms and\n bathrooms clean. Candy our cook was magnificent , every meal was amazing, never had any leftovers – breakfast, lunch or dinners. Amazing Place for a family or 4 to 5 couples to have the best vacation one can think of

Our family incl. my son’s stayed here with my daughter.From the balcony you can see the beautiful calmer Caribbean Sea just outsize the fence 20 ft. away. We all had our private air conditioned bedrooms.Huge kitchen with huge dining room.Most of the time we had food on the table in the balcony over looking water.Candi the chef can cook pretty much anything you want.House keeper and garden keepers were amazing. My grand kids Tommy and Ryan had great time using the inside pool. I walked on the beach just outside every day at least twice a day.Made few friends from England and Canada.Candi cooked great Thanks Giving Dinner for us.Easily accessible from airport and easy to visit town and the whole island which we did. Great staff, great location.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Caribbean sea is right at your doorstep. The staff is awesome, the chef out did himself meal after meal. Plenty of room for hangout with upstairs and downstairs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Total relaxation and comfort<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was our second stay in La Paloma after our last visit in January 2015. Candi is an amazing cook and we had so many delicious new meal experiences, all beautifully presented and tasting wonderful. The garden, looked after by Debra, is even more beautiful than the last time we visited and the house was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay by the four friendly members of staff.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We had the ground floor room opening onto the garden and it was lovely to wake after an amazing sleep to the sight of the early sun on the garden and the gentle sound of waves from the beach nearby. Breakfast on the huge balcony with our friends was a delight. Sometimes we had lunch and dinner on the balcony but with larger numbers, we ate in the huge dining room where the conversation (and alcohol for some!) flowed freely.We cannot recommend this property more highly.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another wonderful stay at La Paloma<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve had another wonderful stay at La Paloma, following our first visit in January 2018. It really is the most fabulous place – a spacious and beautiful villa, set right on the beach, located near many of the island\u2019s best bars and restaurants. The huge balcony area is the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or early evening cocktails, with a stunning view and the sound of the waves lapping on the shore. The design of the house gives you all your home comforts while also being in keeping with the traditional Barbadian style and design. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating, and we\u2019re particularly grateful to Candy and Romell for all the lovely meals they made us during our stay. We stayed with friends, and we both have young children, who just loved playing in the garden and swimming in the pool.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What an AMAZING vacation!<\/strong><\/p>\n

With a party of 10, 5 couples celebrating 50th birthdays we were looking for something special and we found it with La Paloma! This villa was prefect for our group. Sometimes pictures on listings are not always accurate but the images on this listing are completely accurate! The outside veranda was perfection and where we all spent a huge chunk of time. There is so much room that even with 10 people out there it was never crowded. All of the bedrooms are air conditioned and the rest of the villa has celling fans everywhere. I cannot say enough great things about the staff! Rommel and Candy prepared some incredible meals and<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rommel even did a lot of our grocery shopping. You must try some of the local dishes including flying fish and the chicken in Bajan seasoning along with the most incredible gravy! There is a a grocery store, Jordan’s within walking distance and they will even have someone roll your groceries in a cart to your villa which was so great! Having the villa right on the beach and the ocean within a few steps was a huge plus and there are plenty of beach chairs and loungers on the property and you can move them from the pool area to the beach. Fresh beach towels are even put out for you each day. The only negative thing I can say about this amazing house is the house is right on the main busy road (all of the beachfront homes in this area are) so the noise is a bit loud when trying to sleep especially for the rooms on the street side. I would highly recommend this villa and would go back in a heartbeat!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Absolutely amazing!<\/strong><\/p>\n

After searching the area for a place to stay with 5 couples celebrating our 50th birthdays, we found La Paloma. The owner was kind enough to reach out to me as I was searching months in advance asking questions about the villa and Barbados. We were thrilled with our choice! Amazing views of the ocean, beautiful and spacious areas within the house and beach\/ocean access right outside home. Located within walking distance to Jordan\u2019s supermarket and Il Tempio restaurant. The management company, Luxury Realtors was excellent to work with helping us arrange transportation to\/from the airport and well as food and drink delivery upon arrival. Along with the amazing home and views, comes an incredible staff. Rommel cooks amazing meals, assists with shopping and meal planning and works around what you and your group like. Candy has many talents including cooking and ensuring we wanted for nothing- she helped with cleaning, organizing house and cooked some delicious dishes!! Debra takes amazing care of the garden, plants and pool- really enjoyed her singing and smiling face! Ashley helped with not only maintaining the house with cleaning and keeping house in order, but helped us find the bus stops to make our way around the island. Ask staff about areas to visit in area, have Rommel and Candy make local dishes such as flying fish, chicken with Bajan seasoning and the best gravy you\u2019ve ever had! They like to use local fruits and veggies as well as spices and seasoning that are outstanding. All bedrooms are air conditioned and very comfortable for sleeping. Most of our time at the villa was spent on the beach, on the veranda or on beach\/in ocean. So relaxing! You truly want for nothing! Perfection<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was our fifth visit to La Paloma, and we already can’t wait to go back again. The idyllic balcony overlooking the secluded garden and ocean is the perfect place to relax and unwind with a drink or book (or both) in hand. The secure garden has a small fenced pool and plenty of shade for those that prefer not to sunbathe on the beach, and is also ideal for kids. All bedrooms are air conditioned and comfortable, and there is a well stocked games room with pool table. The villa is ideally situated on a stretch of beach on the beautiful west coast of the island, and turtles are often visible swimming in the sea from the balcony.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/strong>The staff are all incredibly pleasant and attentive – Maxine and Deborah ensure that everything in the house and garden is just so, whilst Rommell and Candy produce beautiful meals that you would struggle to beat in many of the excellent restaurants found locally. We particularly enjoyed buying the local fresh fish from the fish market just up the road, which would be expertly prepared that day – we enjoyed flying fish, tuna, mahi-mahi and swordfish done Baian style and more contemporary, to name just a few. The staff were also brilliant as an extra pair of hands, eyes or ears where our 2yo son was concerned, and he was as gutted as we were when the time came for us all to leave.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/strong>Staying at La Paloma is always a little slice of heaven for us, and beats staying in a hotel hands down. We cannot recommend it highly enough.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Arrive, relax and then relax some more<\/strong><\/p>\n

Situated on the sought-after West Coast, North of Bridgetown and South of Holetown, La Paloma is a luxury house on the beach in Fitts Village, St. James.<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n

With very comfortable accommodation for up to ten people, all but the master bedroom (which also has an en-suite bath) have en-suite showers. The first- floor lounge\/veranda is a wonderful place to enjoy and evening sundowner. There are ceiling fans in the public rooms and, in addition, modern air-conditioning in the bedrooms<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, should you feel the need to use it!<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n

We were looked after impeccably by Maxine who manages the house, Deborah who keeps the garden immaculate and looks after the house cat; In the kitchen Rommell and Candy will prepare local Barbadian delights for lunch and dinner.<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n

It is worth sitting down with them to plan lunches and dinners, so they can prepare their specialties for you, including pistachio-crusted tuna, Key lime pie, fish chowder and the best lamb rotis.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/strong>Many staying here seem to hire a car, although there are bus stops to and from the city a few minutes along the road; Jordans supermarket is a few minutes’ walk for day-to-day shopping, while in Holetown there is the large Massey’s supermarket. Ask Rommell and Candy about buying fish from one of the many fish-markets, rather than at the supermarket.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/strong>A great luxury alternative to a hotel holiday for groups of friends or extended family. La Paloma is on the roadside, but we didn’t find the traffic noise a problem.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

It was remarkable how differently hotel guests and villa guests treat their stay on the island. When you stay at La Paloma the staff look after you exceptionally well and are experts on what’s going on. You will find yourselves taking the time to explore both the local area and further afield (there is room for three cars but taxis and buses are cheap and easy). Chef knows local and international recipes and will tell you where to get supplies. Eating out is easy on staff days off and all manner of restaurants and bars are available to suit every budget. The villa itself has AC in the rooms and is very well ventilated in the common areas: the trade winds blow through the kitchen and out onto the balcony with its uninterrupted view of the beach. Water is shallow and aquatic flora and fauna abundant (snorkels are provided). Guests are free to be as involved as they want: want to cook your own breakfast? No problem. Want to take a kayak out? Help yourself. Flexibility is key but make no mistake: this is a luxury villa. You can be as relaxed as you want. Myself and friends came to Barbados to enjoy the sunshine, the water sports and to party hard at crop over. We had the BEST time and couldn’t recommend the villa enough. The views are absolutely breathtaking, the staff super friendly and the food that Rommell cooks is exceptional. We were quite concerned that the villa is situated near a road, but it is exceptionally quiet. Great Barbados villa rental<\/strong><\/p>\n

La Paloma was excellent. Everything advertised was correct. Photos on-line were current. We were a group of ten guys there for a week to celebrate a birthday. The villa is amazing. Right on the ocean. Five bedrooms. Full-time staff of 4 (chef, two housekeepers, outdoor person for the gardens, pool, etc). All staff were efficient, friendly, and determined to please. Getting up in the morning and walking out the gate for a swim in the ocean was amazing. Then coffee on the huge terrace overlooking the ocean….listening to the waves and Cafe Del Mar music…so relaxing. The house is on a fairly busy road, so there is some traffic noise at the back of the house but it did not bother us at all. And at night there is very little traffic so sleeping was not a problem. And the reality is that if the house was not on the road it would not be on the ocean! Great price (about $100 per night each). All meals were delicious. The chef will prepare anything requested. La Paloma…highly recommended.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Excellent Vacation Rental<\/strong><\/p>\n

The accommodations at La Paloma were superb and we cannot wait to return to Barbados & LaPaloma! The staff was especially gracious and professional by tending to all of our needs. They were spectacular! When the staff found out that I was 1\/2 Bajan, Ruth, the cook, shared many “Bajan” dish secrets with our 20 year old daughter (she is very interested in learning about her grandmother’s culture).<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n

We have stayed on the West Coast before and find this area to be great for swimming and snorkeling. La Paloma sits on the beach with about twenty feet of sand (low tide) to enjoy. And, to make it even better, there were very few people in the water and on the beach in front of La Paloma.<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n

La Paloma has very beautiful gardens with a small pool. The bedrooms were very spacious and air conditioned! The downstairs had a large game room with a TV and a pool table.<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n

La Paloma is conveniently located to shops and grocery stores. Some in our group walked to Jordan’s Grocery Store that was located about 1\/4 of a mile away without any trouble.<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n

So if you are trying to decide on a place to stay on Barbados, I would definitely recommend La Paloma.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Nous sommes partis en famille \u00e0 10 personnes (5 adultes et 5 enfants) C’est la premi\u00e8re fois que sur place, c’est mieux qu’en photos. Nous avons pass\u00e9 des vacances merveilleuses et Candy nous a fait prendre quelques kilos ! Mich\u00e8le \u00e9tait adorable avec les enfants ainsi que l’ensemble du personnel. Si les adultes \u00e9taient le plus souvent dans la mer, les enfants \u00e9taient dans la piscine du matin au soir. Nous avons peur car la maison est en vente mais nous esp\u00e9rons bien y revernir dans 2 ans. Fabulous vacation – beautiful villa, wonderful staff

We could not have found a more perfect spot than La Paloma to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary, with our daughters, son-in-law and grandchildren. Though our stay was delayed a year due to Covid, it was well worth the wait. The villa is well-kept, spacious and comfortable with each bedroom comfortably air conditioned. The balcony, with its beautiful view of the garden and overlooking the Caribbean, is the perfect spot to read, play cards, gather for conversation, or have a cocktail before one of Candi\u2019s fabulous dinners. The garden and grounds were lovely. When not enjoying the beach and a swim in the Caribbean we were able to relax and cool off in the plunge pool.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We found the location to be perfect – right on the beach, 5 minute walk to a supermarket, pharmacy, and an excellent Italian restaurant, Il Tempio; a short drive to the golf courses at Sandy Lane and a 1\/2 hour drive to the airport.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What really made our vacation special were the staff at the villa: Candi and Tracey. Candi is a master cook and has a wonderful selection of meals from which to choose. Having 2 younger children with different tastes was not an issue. Candi catered to their individual tastes so that each meal was truly special for all. Tracey, our housekeeper, kept the premises in immaculate condition, assisted with serving food and did a fantastic job with our laundry. Candi and Tracey were a great team, tending to our every need and making sure we were free to relax and enjoy every minute a LaPaloma.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Despite the Covid situation, working with Andrew was seamless. He was proactive and contacted us and helped reschedule our trip from 2020 to 2021. He kept us aware, in a timely manner, of all requirements before we left. Additionally, he arranged for food being delivered to the villa before we arrived, arranged for babysitting for the grandchildren and a rental car. Responses to emails were received within minutes. Phone calls were returned immediately. If a response was dependent upon contacting a 3rd party that was noted in his response. Andrew did everything possible to insure we were able to take our vacation and enjoy ourselves.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Paradise<\/strong><\/p>\n

After visiting Barbados 6 times and trying a different home each time, I have found the perfect villa for our family. It has a great location, plenty of room, all the accessories anyone could want, and a great staff. There is even a beautiful private garden with a small pool and deck area. Rest assured, within a few hours, you will feel like you are in Paradise.<\/strong><\/p>\n

One minor point: even though we heard the lovely sound of the sea, there is definitely street noise. For me, it was minor in comparison to the beauty of the home, staff, and sea view.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We loved working with Andrew. This was our third rental through WhereToStay. Everything is made easy. He is also very knowledgeable about the island and pointed us in the right direction when seeking advice. I would not hesitate to call Andrew again.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I want to thank not only the isle blue staff but the amazing cook and team at la paloma. Walk out the door and you’re on the beach. Snorkelling eating on the balcony or partying until the late hours playing cards listening\n to music and the rum punches. Amazing cannot say enough. Oh and the villa is gorgeous. Everything you could ever want or need and we were 8 people.\n

Our time at La Paloma was fantastic. The amenities and space was perfect for the 8 of us. Our Chef Candie out did herself at every meal. Our housekeeper Michelle paid special attention to all of our needs and kept our space very neat and tidy allowing us time to relax and enjoy our vacation. My experience with all of the staff at Isle Blue was extraordinary! Everyone was very knowledgable and responded quickly to any questions or concerns that I may have had. I will definitely use Isle Blue for any of my future travel needs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wonderful<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve had another wonderful stay at La Paloma, following our first visit in January 2018. It really is the most fabulous place – a spacious and beautiful villa, set right on the beach, located near many of the island\u2019s best bars and restaurants. The huge balcony area is the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or early evening cocktails, with a stunning view and the sound of the waves lapping on the shore. The design of the house gives you all your home comforts while also being in keeping with the traditional Barbadian style and design. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating, and we\u2019re particularly grateful to Candy and Romell for all the lovely meals they made us during our stay. We stayed with friends, and we both have young children, who just loved playing in the garden and swimming in the pool.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Caribbean sea is right at your doorstep. The staff is awesome, the chef out did himself meal after meal. Plenty of room for hangout with upstairs and downstairs. This was our second stay and we will go back.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wonderful Week<\/strong><\/p>\n

We were a family of 10 at La Paloma the first week of January 2019. We found the house to be just as described, beautiful in every way. We enjoyed the 5 ensuite bedrooms and loved the openness of the home. The grounds were impeccable and always clean and cared for. Although the beach was small it offered wonderful snorkeling just off the property gate. The shore had around 20′ of rock in front then clear and soft sand bottom the rest of the way. The house offered water shoes for those who did not like the rocks. Two kayaks were available, which the children enjoyed immensely. It was a wonderful week in paradise in a very well cared for and comfortable home. The staff was great. Our chef, Romell, took great pride in the dishes he cooked and made sure everyone enjoyed each meal. There was no waste as he always used the leftovers for lunches or snacks to be sure all the food was used. Candy, the housekeeper and sometimes cook, took care of all 10 of us and the house.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fabulous In Every Way<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fabulous in every way. After arriving on this beautiful island for the second time in 15 years we were glad to be back. La Paloma is truly a great villa right by the ocean. Perfect for a nice walk or swim in the morning. All the staff were fantastic, especially Rommell who’s cooking is Divine! (We shall miss being waited on) You have all made this holiday absolutely wonderful, we couldn’t have asked for more. It was such a beautiful setting and we look forward to returning to the island and to La Paloma.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Great House & Excellent Staff<\/strong><\/p>\n

The house was great, staff was excellent and so was the food, 2 things you should know about the house we stayed in, it only had A\/C in the bedrooms and house was located on a fairly busy road so you would hear the road traffic through the day. There were shops close by to do your grocery shopping and also other types of retail stores, there are many things to do on this island and the leasing staff can help you with any needs or request you may have. I have been to many islands, and the native people of Barbados are nicest people you will ever meet.<\/strong><\/p>\n
